2. 1 : km 0 - alt. 30 m - From MacRobert take path to lochside, past jetty and uphill passing standing stone to hole in the wall beside chalets.
3. 2 : km 0.72 - alt. 44 m - Exit onto Back o’ the Dyke path.
4. 3 : km 0.82 - alt. 47 m - Turn left and head uphill on the Sheriffmuir Road.
5. 4 : km 1.06 - alt. 77 m - At fork junction continue straight ahead climbing uphill above Bridge of Allan along Pendreich Road.
6. 5 : km 1.89 - alt. 132 m - At the end of the woods after Drumbrae riding stables turn left and follow woodland path to highland viewpoint.
7. 6 : km 2.18 - alt. 154 m - Return to Pendreich Road and turn leftand head further up the road.
8. 7 : km 2.55 - alt. 158 m - At the T junction turn left and head downhill round the golf course.
9. 8 : km 4.1 - alt. 51 m - At the junction with Glen road turn left and head further downhill.
10. 9 : km 4.19 - alt. 48 m - At the T junction with Fernibank brae turn right and continue downhill.
11. 10 : km 4.32 - alt. 29 m - At the junction with Blairforkie Drive continue downhill to emerge onto Henderson St.
12. 11 : km 4.84 - alt. 19 m - Head into Bridge of Allan then immediately head uphill on the path behind the Allan Water Café. Take the right fork at the path junction then staright on at the second junction, emerge onto Alexander Drive.
13. 12 : km 5.1 - alt. 21 m - Head slightly downhill then cross into Well road and head uphill.
14. 13 : km 5.17 - alt. 25 m - Take the path into Mid woods about 30m into Well road on the right. Follow the path through the woods eventually emerging onto steps and head uphill to emerge on Kenilworth road and turn right.
15. 14 : km 5.7 - alt. 38 m - Follow Kenilworth road and after passing Beaconhurst School turn left into Sherifmuir road.
16. 15 : km 6.59 - alt. 39 m - Use the gap in the wall to re-enter the University campus and walk along Grange road and turn right onto Hermitage road.
17. 16 : km 6.79 - alt. 35 m - Return to the Macrobert centre by following the path round the right hand side of Airthrey Loch.
18. S/E : km 7.39 - alt. 30 m
