  1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 94 m - CONKERS CIRCUIT Exit YHA car park - YHA
  2. 2 : km 0.09 - alt. 91 m - Turn right & take path keeping caravan/campsite to your right
  3. 3 : km 0.52 - alt. 85 m - turn left, cross road and take the footpath on your right (keep Fisheries entrance on your left)
  4. 4 : km 1.31 - alt. 93 m - Follow obvious trail. Up the steps and turn left onto Conkers Circuit
  5. 5 : km 1.91 - alt. 98 m - Cross Park Road and take Conkers Circuit footpath through Swainspark Woods
  6. 6 : km 2.32 - alt. 114 m - At top of the incline take the footpath to the right onto Conkers Circuit (marked bridleway 63). Optional extended walk into Tunnel Woods at this point.
  7. 7 : km 2.64 - alt. 101 m - Steady descent down the trail. Bear left at the next two waypoints (signpost Church Gresley)
  8. 8 : km 3.21 - alt. 104 m - keep to bridleway 63, which eventually curves right towards childrens play area, until you reach Occupation Road
  9. 9 : km 3.71 - alt. 105 m - Cross Occupation Road into Island Close Refreshments at Mushroom Hall public house, left 200yds up Occupation Road
  10. 10 : km 3.79 - alt. 107 m - Keep to Conkers Circuit, walk anticlockwise around Albert Village lake Bear left at waypoints as you go around the lake (signposted Conkers/Boothorpe) POI: 'Black to Green' structure depicting history of local area
  11. 11 : km 5.06 - alt. 99 m - Half way around the lake (just after the bird hide screen) take the right incline away from the lake (signposted Conkers)
  12. 12 : km 5.26 - alt. 110 m - Follow the path and exit at main road (Mushroom Lane), turn right onto footpath (signposted Conkers)
  13. 13 : km 5.87 - alt. 100 m - At the bottom of the hill cross the road at the junction into Conkers Circuit footpath *BEWARE OF TRAFFIC*
  14. 14 : km 5.94 - alt. 101 m - Bear left and up the hill past house on your left At this point there is an optional extended walk to Feanedock Woods (follow National Forest Way signpost to your left across the grass to the road. Cross road to start of Gorse Lane. See Feanedock walk route)
  15. 15 : km 6.42 - alt. 107 m - Past the house on your left and keep right into main entrance for Conkers
  16. 16 : km 7.12 - alt. 91 m - Walk past Discovery Centre main entrance towards railway tunnel at the end of the car park
  17. 17 : km 7.27 - alt. 91 m - Exit tunnel and turn right crossing the miniature railway line onto Conkers Circuit Follow path, through the bridge and up the slight hill
  18. 18 : km 7.32 - alt. 91 m - Turn left onto Conkers Circuit
  19. 19 : km 7.47 - alt. 98 m - Look to your right and you will see the YHA Take the steep steps down into the car park
  20. S/E : km 7.68 - alt. 95 m
