Cherryburn challenge - 12 Miler

Walking (and cycling) route linking Corr’s Corner to the shores of Belfast Lough at Whiteabbey. The route can be walked in either direction starting at Corrs Corner or the junction of Glenavna Manor and the Shore Road at Belfast Lough.

A specifically designed loop walk on Divis Mountain with spectacular views over Belfast and every county in Ulster as well as parts of Scotland and England. With stone pitching as its main feature, the Divis summit trail is designed to maintain the condition of the mountain slope while providing public access.

View the city of Belfast from a different perspective, from above! The Divis Ridge Trail allows the walkers to enjoy 180 degree views across the city and further afield including the Antrim Plateau to the north, Scotland to the east and the Mourne Mountains to the south.

Divis Lough Trail, Belfast, is a gentle circular route that leads you across the open hills on a wide, flat and gently sloping path. Lough Neagh, the Sperrins and further afield can be viewed on a clear day.

Divis Heath Trail is a four mile route that traverses blanket bog, taking in the northern end of the Divis and Black Mountain site. This is a route around the northern slopes of Divis where turf was once extracted, offering views of Slemish Mountain. It can be wet underfoot.

The Cave Hill Trail is a challenging route, over unsurfaced paths, past the caves to McArt’s Fort, and crossing moorland, heath and meadows. You will discover much of what the park has to offer from archaeological sites and wildlife to panoramic views.

The Mill Race Trail is a site of importance in terms of its industrial heritage and wildlife value. Follow the way markers and information panels as they tell the story of the Six Mile Water. There is no entrance fee and leaflets on the Trail are available from Antrim Information Centre.
