30) Hike 21: Hokitika Heritage Walk

A part of the Hokitika Heritage Walk. We started at the beach, walking along the shore before heading landinwards to go to the cemetery on the hill. Followed the path next to the airport and lost the track from there due to poor signage. Back through the heart of the village to the riverside. Walked along the river back to the beach and back to the hostel from there. Approximately 8 km of walking. Mainly beach or gravel roads. Very easy walk but poor signage. A wonderfully sunny day during a rainy week.
