  1. S : km 0 - alt. 110 m - Start at 55 Craig Avenue (home to Hugh Craig 1912) and continue down Craig Avenue towards Highland
  2. 2 : km 0.21 - alt. 106 m - Turn right onto Highland Avenue and pass the 1890 Cable Car stop on the corner of Oakland Avenue
  3. 3 : km 0.45 - alt. 102 m - Turn left onto Blair Avenue
  4. 4 : km 0.93 - alt. 65 m - Turn left onto El Cerrito Avenue (imagine yourself in 1852 at Blair's Dairy on the Corner of Blair and El Cerrito Avenue)
  5. 5 : km 1.08 - alt. 66 m - Turn left onto Oakland Avenue
  6. 6 : km 1.28 - alt. 90 m - Turn right onto Hillside Avenue - some original houses from around 1899 still exist. 321 Hillside, the Channel house (demolished), the Gorrill house at 337 Hillside, the Gorrill Wedding Cottage at 345 Hillside (built for their daughter) and the Gamble house was destroyed by fire and later replaced by the Kinney house that became the Recreation Center.

  8. 8 : km 1.7 - alt. 92 m - Turn left onto Bonita Avenue
  9. 9 : km 1.8 - alt. 98 m - Turn right onto Vista Avenue. Don't miss City Hall and Fire Dept. on your right. They were built in 1910 and designed by Albert Farr.
  10. 10 : km 1.93 - alt. 104 m - As you turn right onto Highland Avenue stop to view the World War I memorial at Vets Hall

  12. 12 : km 2 - alt. 99 m - Turn left onto Magnolia Avenue. Our beautiful Exedra Plaza is on your right. The Exedra along with Community Hall were built in 1922 as part of a larger community center master plan. It was also the site of the Piedmont Springs Hotel in 1871
  13. 13 : km 2.05 - alt. 100 m - Turn slight right onto Highland Avenue
  14. 14 : km 2.12 - alt. 101 m - Enter Piedmont Park and head to the beautiful Community Hall (1922)
  15. 15 : km 2.26 - alt. 98 m - Walk past Community Hall and enjoy the lush gardens in Piedmont Park as you pass by the Japanese Tea House
  16. 16 : km 2.39 - alt. 99 m - Exit the park through the stairs opposite from Community Hall to complete your walk
