Puech Pounchut
This walk is located on the north side of the Aigoual massif in the Cevennes.
At the summit of the hike you will have a beautiful view of the Causse Mejean and the Valley of Jonte. On a clear day looking west you can see the Millau viaduct.

In the shade of the pink sandstone collegiate church and the surrounding woods, a peaceful escape on bushy paths, mills and hamlets, forest trails wind their way along the river Rance.

⚠️To be avoided in periods of heavy rain, otherwise one passes at ease by taking off one's shoes.

Very interesting hike as much for the landscapes (Rance valley, Rougier de Camarès) as for the culture (village of Combret, Notre-Dame d'Orient, numerous crosses).
Some portions on tarmac, but with the magnificence of the small paths and the beauty of the landscape, you'll quickly forget them.
Visit Sainte-Énimie
A walk to discover this pretty little medieval town in the Gorges du Tarn, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France".
Navacelles Cirque and Moulins de la Foux
A fairly conventional circuit that lets walkers admire the Cirque de Navacelles and hike in the gorges of La Vis. The ruins of the Moulins de la Foux are the ultimate goal of the hike, with beautiful explanations of these water mills and on the underground portion of the screw, not yet fully explored.
The Cirque du Bout du Monde
A hike in the foothills of the Larzac plateau overlooking Cirque du Bout du Monde and the village of Gourgas with a return journey via a beautiful forest path.
A circuit from Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance
This hike, mostly in tree-shade, takes you through coombs and valleys to the south of Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance. Beautiful paths, some of them forgotten or seldom used, add a pleasant touch of wilderness. A breath of fresh air in absolute calm, in an unspoilt natural setting, not forgetting the two menhir statues at Pousthomy, which add a touch of historical interest to this walk.
