Aquitaine walks

A beautiful trail through the woods, overlooking the abbey and the cloister of Cadouin (built in the 12ht, 15th and 16th centuries). One of the many hikes in the forest of Bessède in the heart of the Périgord Noir.

A circuit a dozen or so kilometers long in a green area among forests, streams and waterfalls. And especially crossing the Holzarté bridge which is the headline event of this quite demanding hike. If it is too physically demanding, you can turn around once you have seen the bridge.

A stroll around Domme, through the countryside dotted with hamlets, woods, and walnut trees. At the end of the walk, an itinerary to visit this beautiful village is suggested.

From the Vitrac quite village, this route goes up the Dordogne valley to discover the famous La Roque-Gageac clifftop village.

With this walk, you will not only visit Beynac, the famous village clinging to its cliff, with its castle overlooking one of the Dordogne's meanders, but also Cazenac, a quiet little hamlet high up in the valley, with its small church featuring remarkable modern stained glass windows.

From pretty little meadows enclosed in the forest to forest paths in the undergrowth, this hike allows you to discover numerous ponds and the diversity of the landscapes of the Double forest.

A hike that will lead you to one of the primary summits of the Pyrenees, offering you a view over the entire Basque country, French and Spanish.
