Millennium Way Full West to East

The Millennium Way is a fantastic 100 mile long distance trail across the Heart of England. It was created in the year 2000 by 41 Club, which is for ex Round Tablers. If you are new to walking or a seasoned pro, this beautiful long distance trail has something to offer everybody. Crossing the counties of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, this is a walk that simply cannot be rivalled.
From Pershore, Millenium Way

Pershore has an interesting heritage and offers an opportunity to visit the medieval Abbey which was founded in 689 AD. The walk starts from the ancient Pershore Bridge, follows the River Avon for a short section and offers pleasant woodland and open countryside with only gentle inclines. For the first half of the walk you will be guided by our distinctive green and white waymarkers. This is walk 41 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

Pershore bridges

A peaceful stretch of the River Avon is combined with a beautiful woodland to create this easy and enjoyable walk close to the Georgian town of Pershore. There are good views of Pershore and the surrounding countryside from the highest point of the walk.
Eckington Wharf

A waymarked riverside walk in the Worcestershire countryside. Eckington Wharf is a pleasant place to linger for a while, enjoying the view up river towards Bredon Hill, or watching elegant swans glide beneath the arches of the medieval bridge spanning the River Avon. The wharf is also the ideal starting point for a delightful and undemanding walk which takes you alongside the river to Strensham Lock before returning through Eckington village.
Cotswolds - Hailes Abbey

A walk in the heart of the Cotswolds, its countryside, its hills and its woods from the ruins of Hailes Abbey, taken over from the National Trust. This circuit takes part of the Cotswolds Way, an SGR hiking trail that crosses the Cotswolds from North to South for 164 km (from Chipping Campden to Bath).
Broadway Tower

Broadway and its highest tower castle in the Cotswolds is ideally located for exploring this hilly region of the English countryside and a part of the Cotswold Way (National Trail 164km running north-to-south).
In good weather, the top of Broadway Tower offers a 360° view, especially of the Welsh landscape to the west.
Sudeley Castle and Salter's Hill from Winchcombe

This circular walk from Winchcombe goes past Sudeley Castle and leads to great countryside viewpoints including Salter's Hill viewpoint using sections of Windrush Way and Gloucestershire Way.
Saintbury Church, Dover's Hill, Chipping Campden and Broadway Tower

This pretty long circular walk (but not very hard!) from Broadway uses two famous trails, Donnington and Cotswold Ways letting you discover gorgeous Cotswold villages, churches, viewpoints and monuments.

River Severn and Apperley from Tewkesbury

The River Severn provides a focus for this walk which starts from the attractive town of Tewkesbury with its wonderful Abbey. The outward route follows the Severn Way following the river to reach Apperley. Here the walk turns inland and continues across fields to Deerhurst and back to the start. The walk also offers good views to the Malvern Hills which line the western skyline.

North Piddle to Inkberrow, Millenium Way

Upton Snodsbury, North Piddle and Flyford Flavell, Millenium Way

The walk is mostly flat, across open countryside, through farmland but with several stiles. During the early part of the walk, between Upton Snodsbury and Flyford Flavell you will enjoy a delightful section of the Millennium Way. This is walk 38 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
Broughton Hackett and Upton Snodsbury - Millenium Way

The walk is part of the Millenium Way and is a little mostly flat across open countryside, through farmland. It is an ideal gentle stroll for a sunny weekend, before taking refreshment at one of the two pubs mentioned. During the walk you will enjoy a delightful section of the Millennium Way, the route being clearly marked by the distinctive green waymarkers. Circular - Broughton Hackett, Millenium Way

The Millenium Way Easy Access Circular is a category 3 Tramper (off-road scooter) route and therefore offers an easy stile free walk in beautiful countryside, taking in the Parishes of Broughton Hackett and White Ladies Aston. Please note that sections of this walk can be muddy in places. The MILLENNIUM WAY section is clearly waymarked with the distinctive green and white circular waymarkers. #walkingonwheels
