The Pointe de Plougrescant

The Pointe de Plougrescant is recognised around the world due to Castel-Meur: the house between the rocks. The hike starts at Saint-Gonery Chapel, equally famous for its crooked lead bell tower. The hike continues via the Baie de l'Enfer where you can admire the Jaudy estuary, then on to Pointe du Château - the most northerly point of this route - to see Castel Meur (private property) and finally to discover the gulf before returning to the departure point along the west coast of the point.

The island of Bréhat

Bréhat, an island known for its flowers; it has its own micro-climate that favours the growth of amazing, abundant and exotic flora. Bréhat is 3.5 km long and 1.5 km across at its widest point and consists in fact of two islands attached by a single stone bridge. Its proximity to the mainland, 15 minutes by boat, makes it a major destination for a day trip for walkers.

Forêt de Rennes: Juteauderies circular
Departure from Liffré (Ille-et-Vilaine)
A short hike in the Rennes forest along shady forest lines and paths through the forest alongside the Caleuvre stream. This easy trail is particularly beautiful in early spring, when the beech trees have young, light-green leaves, or in autumn, when the leaves have turned yellow and red.
It takes you along the old water supply line that brought water from the Minette (a tributary of the Couesnon) to Rennes.
Pointe du Raz circular

A short stroll through one of Brittany's most spectacular sites.
Avoid the official car park and the temple merchants that accompany it (Advantage or Inconvenience? Up to you). At the end of the first section, you'll have a panoramic view of the pointe.
The route has been modified on 31/07/2023 to circumvent a ban imposed by a local resident.
Anse du Téno - Pluneret

Brocéliande: a legendary forest

The pink granite coast at Ploumanach

Winding through the "chaos" and following the Douaniers trail and the GR®34, you'll discover one of Brittany's most magnificent landscapes, shaped by majestic pink granite rocks of all shapes and sizes. There are only three places like it in the world: Brittany, Corsica and China.
Kermorvan peninsula circular

Facing the Ponant Islands, which include Ouessant and Molène, the Pointe de Kermorvan offers a panoramic view of the coastline from the Pointe Saint-Mathieu in the south to the Pointes d'Ilien and du Corsen in the North. At its tip, the lighthouse marks the entrance to the Port du Conquet. The peninsula still preserves vestiges of Vauban's fortifications, as well as numerous defensive remains of the Atlantic Wall.

La Roche-Bernard bridge loop

This pleasant walk alternates seamlessly between passages at water's edge and ridge-climbing, and also spans two bridges some 50 m above the Vilaine. The bridge circuit allows you to discover a small section of the river as it crosses the Sillon de Bretagne. Get your calves ready!

The Pointe de Locmariaquer

Servon-sur-Vilaine (castle, river and mill)

A pretty, easy, well-marked walk passing by a chapel, the Château du Gué, the Ancienne Fonderie de Servon-sur-Vilaine, the Oratoire Saint-Mathurin, the Vilaine, the old mill, the protected Pas Davy site, the greenhouses (mainly tomatoes) and the calvary. The return journey takes you along a leafy driveway through a housing estate.

The moors of Ploumanac'h

Ploumanac'h, "France's favourite village in 2015", is a small touristic harbour linking up with Perros-Guirec.
It's the city of pink granite, as visitors can discover in the sculpture park (being redeveloped in 2016). The "sentier des douaniers" (GR®34), the "Tertre de la Clarté", the small sandy beaches of "La Bastille" and "Saint-Guirec" with its oratory and chapel, and the chaos of granite heaps are the main sights.
