Description of the walk

(S/E) Park at Long Stay carpark by Bromyard information centre. Go down Church Lane to the end.

(1) Go downhill and cross Station Road, find a path opposite that goes left through a house garden.

(2) Do not cross the bridge to right, continue with the hedge on your right.

(3) Go straight on when there is a gate and path to the right.

(4) From the road, go through the church gate and take stile to right. Church is worth a look inside.

(5) After this stile, go uphill to the right of the house and garden. Across the road keep the hedge on your right.

(6) Do not go left on the track, turn right then left onto Tenbury Road which passes a large Coop shop on the way back into town.(S/E)

Easy level walking along riverside from Northwick to Bevere Island for 2 km, short steepish wooded bank up from river to Bevere hamlet, quiet roadside walking mostly sloping gently down hill from Bevere to Northwick, along roadside paths easy, across recreation ground very at and easy. Walk down Old Northwick Lane level and easy and down track to car park easy but sometimes uneven and muddy.
