A hike for everyone. You will find typical Mediterranean vegetation, protected flora and fauna. Equip yourself with good walking shoes and water. Respect nature and the silence (take your rubbish with you). Making fires, picking flowers and wild camping are strictly prohibited. Only follow the waymarking colours mentioned in the description.

The asphalt descent on the return journey takes you back to the village of Mormoiron, facing the Ventoux, with all the villages at the foot of the Ventoux in view: Mormoiron, Flassan, Bedoin, Caromb, Villes sur Auzon, etc.

A very easy walk. The first part up to the dam, very pleasant and shady. There's not shade on second part until you arrive, so wear hats in sunny weather.
Numerous birds and in particular grey herons, cormorants, swans etc. are visible near the water and on the banks of the Rhone.
