Chambers Farm Wood to Minting (return via Gautby)
Departure from Langton by Wragby (Lincolnshire)
This Lincolnshire walk is somewhat different in that walkers can do some route finding for themselves. This is because Chambers Farm Wood has several self-guided, waymarked routes that can be used to vary my preferred route described below. Part of the walk follows quiet country lanes and traverses typical Lincolnshire countryside.
To Legsby & Linwood and back again
Departure from Market Rasen (Lincolnshire)
This walk starts from Market Rasen and heads through fields over the Coversands; soils which are very deep but which dry out quickly and are subject to wind erosion.

On the Wild Side

Starting from Ludford, this dog-friendly walk joins the Viking Way long distance footpath and leaves the village past the old 101 Squadron airfield, skirting the edge of the Deserted Medieval Village at Wykeham and leaving the Viking Way. Onwards and upwards to Great Tows, the highest point of the walk where there are fine views of the Wolds top and often a brisk breeze blowing.
Owmby-by-Spital to Saxby Loop

This is a gentle walk which is very dog-friendly, using bridleways, very minor roads and permissive paths. It is relatively flat and easy going so an ideal afternoon walk that won't be too taxing.
