Kinwarton CP walks

Starting in Alcester town centre, this route gives good views, an interesting Church, before returning to Alcester with choice of shops, cafes and pubs.

This delightful circular walk starts from The Throckmorton near Coughton Court a well-known National Trust property. This is walk 23 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

This circular walk combines the delights of both town and country walking. Starting in the Coughton you will enjoy riverside paths, country lanes and gentle farmland. Just over half distance you go down the attractive Alcester High Street. There is also the chance to visit Coughton Court, an interesting and attractive National Trust property. On this trail you’ll discover some of Warwickshire’s most glorious countryside as you meander from the ancient village of Bearley. Recorded in the Domesday Book, Bearley has links with the Shakespeare family through Mary Arden, Shakespeare’s mother. Bearley is also home to the Bearley Vineyard whose wines can be purchased at village stores, local wine merchants and local National Trust properties

This delightful walk starts from the 15th-century church of St John the Baptist, situated on the corner of the High Street and Beaudesert Lane in Henley-in-Arden. This is walk 18 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

This circular starts from the 15th Century church of St John the Baptist in the centre of the lovely town of Henley in Arden. It has a couple of short steep climbs with resulting fine views. This is walk 17 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

This circular walk will take you through farmland and around the privately owned Mockley Wood, one of the larger woodlands in this part of Warwickshire. In the springtime, be sure to peer into the wood and see the unending, sweet smelling carpet of bluebells. Keep your eyes peeled for the rather incongruous rusting truck hidden in the undergrowth on the return leg - a local landmark!
