The walk starts at the car park of the old station, at the bottom of Condé-en-Brie.
(Out and back) Cross the railway line, and at the roundabout, turn left into Rue du Cahot. Take the first right, towards the silo.
(1) Walk past the silo, and once you’ve passed the small wood, take the path to the left. You’ll soon reach the Dhuis aqueduct, which is an underground pipeline with a pleasant, well-maintained path running along it. Follow this path to the left.
(2) Cross the road carefully and continue straight ahead along the aqueduct. After 1 km, you will reach the Butte de Beaumont.
(3) At the aqueduct hut, turn left downhill and walk to the road. The descent is difficult in wet weather as it is very steep. Once on the D87 road, turn right, enter the hamlet of Coupigny and go straight on between the houses (do not cross the ford on the left).
(4) You are now on theGRP®® Tour de l’Omois. Leave the hamlet and, at the Fork in the road, follow the path to the right. The path climbs up the hillside, passing through a small wood.
(5) Turn right, skirting the small wood on the left. Cross the hamlet of Confrémeaux. Join the D86, cross it and head straight on.
(6) Just before reaching the Hauche farm, turn left. The path passes under a high-voltage power line, then enters a small wood. You come to a crossroads in the wood.
(7) Turn right and continue through the woods. After 1 km, the path descends towards Condé-en-Brie. Pass the secondary school and the police station. When you reach the D4, turn right, then left at the roundabout. You are back at the old station (S/E).
