Oules du Diable, Cascade du Buchardet and Cabane de l'Aup
Departure from La Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar (Hautes-Alpes)
Very nice, accessible hike: no difficult passages, breathtaking views of the glaciers all the way, regular waterfalls, marmots, an incredible end to the hike with the Oules du Diable.
Hike done on August 23, 2014, a year with a lot of water, we were lucky: waterfalls and torrents "at full throttle" and a very flowery route!
Pont des Oules du Diable and Cascade de Buchardet
Departure from La Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar (Hautes-Alpes)
Magnificent walk between the Pont des Oules du Diable and the Cascade du Buchardet waterfall.
Lovely circuit under the Préaux

The Cabane de Tante Yvonne (Aunt Yvonne's cabin!)

This is a walk where you'll find shelter right in the heart of mountain pastures and where you can enjoy a friendly meal ... in very pleasant surroundings.
Fressinières Pass (Col)

From Prapic to Dormillouse via the Fressinières Pass.

In the footsteps of the peasant miners of Guisane
Departure from Le Monêtier-les-Bains (Hautes-Alpes)
The Briançonnais region had several hundred peasant-mines each operated by 2 to 3 people.
This route lets you access two of these sites in the Guisane valley. Here you can still find remnants of these operations.
It also offers stunning panoramic views of the Guisane valley and the Les Agneaux mountain. You can enjoy this in both summer and winter, with snowshoes (the southern exposure allows for rapid stabilisation of the snowpack).
The Cristayes ridges
Departure from Gap (Hautes-Alpes)
Between marlstone and forests, a hike to the south of Gap.
Circuit around Mont-Dauphin
Departure from Eygliers (Hautes-Alpes)
A relatively short and easy walk around the "Vauban" citadel of Mont-Dauphin. From the top of the circuit, there are fine views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, while the section along the river Guil offers a view not only of the Guil, but also of the Chalp canal waterfall. The walk can be followed by a stroll around the citadel.
