Description of the walk

There are a few parking spaces at the starting point sign in Montcheutin.

Follow the yellow footpath markings no. 10.

(S/E) From Avenue Georges Clemenceau in Montcheutin, head up towards the church.

(1) At the foot of the church, turn left and climb a small hill to reach the plateau. Continue straight ahead along the Terrière National Forest. At the corner of the forest, turn left onto a small road.

(2) Turn left and follow it for just under 2 km (note: the marker is a flat stone on the ground).

(3) Leave the road and take the rural path on the left. At the crossroads by the large oak tree, descend to the right towards the hamlet of La Nau des Vins, passing under the hamlet of La Gravette. Continue along the small road running alongside the meadows and two old wash houses.

(4) In Grandham, turn left into the village and walk through it along the main street.

(5) On leaving Grandham, go up the path in the woods on the left. Continue straight ahead until you come out of the woods. Back on the plateau, turn right towards Montcheutin on a path between the fields (note: look out for the flat marker on the ground). Continue straight ahead until you come to a small wood on the left.

(6) Turn left to stay on the farm track, then head right. Continue straight ahead through the woods, which will take you directly back to your starting point in Montcheutin (S/E).
