The return leg offers the opportunity to return to Bewdley; either under your own steam by walking back along the opposite bank of the river or by steam power utilising the historic Severn Valley Railway. The walk covers about 6.5 miles in the Wyre, forest taking in Arley station, The Wyre forest, Victoria Bridge ,the Severn Valley railway, Crossing the Severn via a footbridge and Trimpley reservoir.

Walk down Old Northwick Lane level and easy and down track to car park easy but sometimes uneven and muddy.
Kinver Edge
