A fairly long walk but with no steep hills or other challenging obstacles.

A straightforward walk over flat farmland to Warborough and beyond towards the Wittenham Clumps.

A varied walk. Some gentle hills at first with good views across the open countryside. The second half of the walk is along the Thames Path. Some boggy sections to be avoided. There are no stiles but one awkward footbridge to cross.
Cholsey Circular via Aston
A level walk with no stiles to climb on mostly good paths. The route goes past Agatha Christie’s grave and into the twin villages of Aston Tirrold and Aston Upthorpe.
Ewelme and Swans Way
A gentle walk across open farmland, with views. Much of the land is set aside for wild flowers, and is quite glorious in the early summer months.

A short easy walk along the Thames on the outward leg.

A long walk involving two uphill stretches. South Stoke – Mongewell Park – Watch Folly – South Stoke.

A medium length but easy walk along the Ridgeway and the Thames.
