Starting from Ludford, this dog-friendly walk joins the Viking Way long distance footpath and leaves the village past the old 101 Squadron airfield, skirting the edge of the Deserted Medieval Village at Wykeham and leaving the Viking Way. Onwards and upwards to Great Tows, the highest point of the walk where there are fine views of the Wolds top and often a brisk breeze blowing.

The 14 mile Round Louth Walk circles the historic market town, journeying into the surrounding countryside of the Wolds and Marsh. The route is waymarked by a blue spire walk logo. Although the full walk is 14 miles long, there are shorter circular routes using various public footpaths back into town if you don't want to do it all in one day.

This is an enjoyable, circular walk of 6.5 miles from Louth to Tathwell and Raithby. The route crosses fields and follows grass tracks to explore these small hamlets. Great views towards Stenigot Mast and beyond can be seen on a clear day.
In Ore of Our Past

This walk passes through an area that was, until just a few decades ago, one of the most industrial parts of the Wolds. Today the Nettleton Valley is a grassy, peaceful picturesque place, and from the top, there are fine views towards the River Trent and Lincoln.
In the Shadow of Juicetrump

This walk links the quiet villages of Belchford and Scamblesby in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Enjoy grassy paths, a stream and some fine hilltop views. There are numerous springs nearby which first attracted Neolithic settlers to the area. Two streams converge here to form the source of the River Waring, which flows to Horncastle to join the River Bain.

Part of the walk follows quiet country lanes and traverses typical Lincolnshire countryside.
