Stage 7 Devon's Coast-to-Coast : Morchard Bishop to Knowstone
There are basically two parts to the seventh stage; Morchard Bishop to Witherage and then Witherage to Knowstone, both 8 milers and through interesting Mid Devon agricultural landscape. We follow the River Datch for a while to reach Washford Pyne, then follow the Little Dart River. We meet the Ridge and Valley Walk at Witherage and, cross over the A 371.
Brownstone, Froward and Coleton
A walk exploring the wild and rugged coastline of the AONB. This walk is a perfect mix of natural and local history – with the spectacular coast of the Brixham and Kingswear Peninsula, and the WW2 military site at Froward Point.
Dartmouth Greenway round
The lower half of the Dart Valley Trail, a great circular walk in itself! One of the area’s truly great walks, this day- long ramble follows the wooded banks of the broad and beautiful Dart estuary, on a route crammed with gems and jewels of human and natural history.
Kingswear and Waterhead Creek
A short waterside and woodland stroll. This short walk skirts the edges of Waterhead creek in Kingswear before heading into the woods alongside the estuary and back along the railway line.

A lovely linear walk up the Dart Estuary. Enjoy views of the estuary as you pass through woodland, farm fields and the Greenway Estate. You can choose to return by water, on foot or by steam!
Kingswear to Coleton Fishacre coast path circular

This is a (mostly) circular walk that takes in a short section of the South West Coast Path and passes sub-tropical plants, dramatic cliffs and WW2 relics on a route that skirts the beautiful Coleton Fishacre house and gardens. The path is clearly marked and well-trodden. There are several steep sections and plenty of steps, but there are lovely views as compensation.
Culmstock Beacon Easy
An easy, family-friendly circular walk out to Culmstock Beacon, returning via Culm Davy woods. Includes woodland and heathland walking, with stunning views from the Beacon - if the weather plays nicely!
