Bempton Cliffs from Flamborough

A linear East Yorkshire walk that visits some of the most dramatic cliffs in the area. This walk is an ideal chance to have a piucnic by the sea. Don't forget to take your binoculars as the cliffs are busy with nesting seabirds in season.
Flamborough Head from Flamborough

Flamborough Head in the East Riding of Yorkshire is one the great coastal features of the British Isles. In late spring the area is also well known for its abundant birdlife. With the North Yorks Moors so near it is easy to be a bit dismissive about East Yorkshire but a walk around Flamborough Head should serve to demonstrate that parts of this coast are as fine as anything further north.

Spurn Head from Kilnsea

This walk explores one of the extremities of East Yorkshire walking the length of the Spurn Head from Kilnsea. The walk offers wide views of the Hymber Estuary and also provides some excellent bird watching at certain times of the year.
Cowlam & Cottam - Yorkshire Wolds

A walk with interesting history throughout, from a Church dating from 1100 to 1939 WW2 runways now abandoned. Also includes the Abandoned church at Cottam and the remains of a Medieval Village.
There are a few optional versions of this walk, if you are familiar with OS map use there are many footpaths marked out to make this walk either longer or shorter. The route provided intends to give the walker the most interesting route of things to see!
Filey Town

Starting from Filey Country Park Car Park, this circular walk takes in the beach, seafront and town. There are plenty of places to stop off for lunch or coffee and attractions such as crazy golf and parks along the way.
In Ore of Our Past

This walk passes through an area that was, until just a few decades ago, one of the most industrial parts of the Wolds. Today the Nettleton Valley is a grassy, peaceful picturesque place, and from the top, there are fine views towards the River Trent and Lincoln.

Troutsdale
Departure from Snainton (North Yorkshire)
This North York Moors walk has a feel of remoteness despite being only 12 miles from Scarborough. Good views into the Troutsdale and Upper Derwent valleys although the area does suffer from large expanses of forest. The route is generally easy to follow.
