Lovely walk from The Bertie Arms in Uffington to Burghley House, returning via the river Welland.

This short walk is full of interesting views of lakes with bird-watching hides in the Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve. Also view along River Welland.There are no facilities at this location but several options in nearby Crowland, Deeping St. James and Market Deeping.

This walk starts and finishes at The Horseshoe public house, excellent food. Lovely countryside walk on footpaths, minor roads and short stretch on A15.

Great walk around Ferry Medows in Nene Park. Lots of wildlife to see.

This walk starts and finishes at Northcutt's Garden Centre (PE2 5UU) which has an excellent restaurant. It encompasses walking around Overton and Gunwade lakes nearly all on hard footpaths.

Easy walk on dykes and roads with the opportunity to see birdlife such as Swans, Cormorants, Grebes and Egret. Tulip Queen good eating place normal carvery etc. suggest booking if large party.

This easy short walk along the Coronation Channel has many water birds to observe, Crested Grebe, Ducks, Swans, Herons sometimes Cormorants. Springfields is a major shopping outlet has all the facilities, coffee shops and lovely gardens to take a short break. Coronation Channel was created in 1953 following major flooding of Spalding following heavy rains rising River Welland coupled with a very high tide, so this relief channel was dug.

Short walk starting at car park pay station near Café Nero. Minor road to follow River Welland exiting on minor road to Wykeham and return to Springfields Outlet Shopping complex.

This short walk starts and ends at Birchgrove Garden Centre on the B1356 at (PE11 3XY).The route to Surfleet church is on quiet country roads. The return is mainly following the river Glen along the Macmillan Way, finally returning back via urban road.

This short walk soon gets into countryside and splendid views. Also lot to be seen when following river Glen.

This walk uses quiet country lanes with open vistas across agricultural fields to arrive at river glen by Surfleet Bank and the sea lock. Follows Macmillan Way through golf course and delightful river Glen. passing under the A16 and continues along river to crosses over river to return to village hall.

This walk is useful when fields are waterlogged, mainly on quiet lanes. When we did this walk in autumn the sunflowers were spectacular.

Nice walk for when it is poor underfoot. Starting at great pub "Riverside Hotel", following River Glen by Spalding Golf course, crossing river at the lock to sea. Returns down quiet lanes to Surfleet.

Vast skies dominate Moulton Marsh, part of The Wash and Lincolnshire's last great coastal wilderness. This walk offers great rewards including panoramic views, close-ups of boats heading to and from the marina at Fosdyke and an abundance of birds.
