This route beginning opposite Hutton Grammar school and making way to Dolphin Pub via Longton Brook, Back Lane and Marsh Lane. Return is via section of Ribble Way, River Ribble and open farmland back to start.

The walk starts from Penwortham water tower and follows the anticlockwise circular route via River Ribble, Howick Cross and Blashaw Wood.

A good sense of direction is required certainly during the first section of this walk. Refreshments are not available during this walk so make sure you take food and water.

Bankhouses from Glasson via the Lancashire Coastal Way
A Lancashire Walk that explores the Lune Estuary and coast to the west of Lancaster. This Lancashire walk starts from Glasson Dock which at one time had high hopes as being a port serving Lancaster. The route follows a section of the Lancashire Coastal Way with the opportunity to visit the ruins of Cockersand Abbey before continuing along the coast. The final section uses rural inland footpaths to return to the start.
Abbeystead - Tarnbrook - Big hill
A walk of two halves, first half mainly uphill, second half mainly down-hill. Surface all gravel path or tarmac road so easy to follow and walk on.
Note. I have since been told that there are two styles on this route which are difficult to get over so please take this into account if you have any mobility problems, I personally didn't notice the issue at the time of the walk although I was able bodied at the time. Unfortunately due to an accident since I've not been able to return to this walk and it is possible that the styles have deteriorated since.
Ainsdale Reserve Circular

A circular around Ainsdale Nature reserve starting with the gentle woodland section before moving on to a trickier dry dune section due to a large number of paths crisscrossing the dunes, The final section is through the wet dune section where the path is clearly marked but ponds block the path during wet periods so improvisation or wellingtons might be necessary.
Appley Bridge Gathurst Circular

Circular walk starting from Appley Bridge ascending towards Ashurst Beacon before descending over Dean Brook to Gathust and via Leeds Liverpool canal back to start.
Adlington Hic Bibi Circular

This circular walk starts at Adlington to initially follow the Leeds Liverpool Canal before heading via Arley Wood to Worthington Lakes. The route then ascends over farmland to Hic Bibi Nature Reserve on the top of Coppull Hill giving extensive views over Winter Hall. The final section of the walk descends back to the canal.
Adlington Red Rock Circular

A circular walk starting from Adlington to briefly follow the bank of River Douglas before ascending onto disused rail track leading to Red Rock and onto School Lane with good 270 degree views over Winter Hill, Beacon and Billinge Fells. A series of footpaths and farm tracks cross farmland leading back to Adlington.
Shevington Standish Circular

6m mile circular route starting from Shevington crossing Mill Brook into Elnup Wood, From here the route makes its way via Standish Park to cross Mill Brook and M6 motorway onto Shevington Vale. Having made its way around the vale the route heads back to start over Gathurst Golf course.
Crook Standish Circular

Circular Walk starting from sports ground in Crook then North onto Birley Pond, Birley & Elnup Woods exiting over Mill Brook to gently ascend to Birch Walk. The route then follows the boundary of Standish Park before heading back to start via Giants Hall Farm and Standish Wood Lane. Good views of Beacon Park and Winter Hill ridges from high points.
