Monks Kirby CP walks

This trail takes you from Rugby train station to the village of Clifton upon Dunsmore following a section of the Oxford Canal and Wilmcote the Shakespeare Avon Way. Sample a different side of Rugby, with an amble along the Avon Valley through peace and quiet to the village of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore.

From the market town of Bedworth this trail takes you on field paths to the Coventry Canal, up to Marston Junction and back via the Ashby Canal and the village of Bulkington.

This Leicestershire walk explores the area to the west and north of the village of Croft, which lies to the south-east of Leicester. The walk uses paths and bridleways and a section of road walking to complete the route.

A surprisingly rural walk between two stations on the Coventry to Nuneaton line. The route starts at Bermuda Park on the southern outskirts of Nuneaton and follows the Coventry Canal to Marston Junction before field paths bring you to the town of Bedworth.

The first half of this country walk follows the route of The Millennium Way as far as Newbold Comyn Park before returning along a lovely section of the Grand Union Canal, then along the Offchurch Greenway to return back to Offchurch. This is walk 28 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

This circular walk starts at The Kings Head, near Napton on the A425 where you can obtain refreshments. The route soon joins The Millennium Way along the Oxford canal then across flat farmland & open countryside, turning south to follow the Grand Union Canal and Oxford Canal providing a feast for those interested in narrow boats and history of our canal network. This is walk 25 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

This easy circular town walk can be completed in under two hours, but it is better to take at least a half day, so that you can explore some of the monuments, historical sites along the way, linger in the attractive parks, visit the museum and cafe in the Pump Rooms and enjoy the tranquillity of the Grand Union Canal and River Leam.
