Omagh walks

A peaceful route, leaving from the hamlet of Rousky and winding its way down the valley side to the Owenreagh River.

An excellent off-road hill walk opening up views of the Bluestack and High Sperrin Mountain ranges.

This 3rd section of Bollaght Mountain Trail, part of The International Appalachian Trail (IAT), follows quiet country roads, areas of woodland, picking up the Ulster Way on the northern slopes of Bollaght Mountain. You then see panoramic views of the western Sperrins can be enjoyed. The route is waymarked from here using yellow on blue Ulster Way signage.

This interesting walk begins and finishes at An Creagán Visitor Centre and includes a visit to the excavated Court Tomb at Creggandevesky. The walk is entirely on road.

An interesting walk through farmland onto a small rounded mountain with views all around of the Sperrin Mountains.

An Creagán Boidiversity Trail provides a safe and friendly place to de-stress in a uniquely tranquil and picturesque environment. Starting from An Creagán the walk begins with a Biodiversity Trail and a series of panels on the plants found on the bogs of Creggan. The walk continues through the forest where a variety of wildlife can be observed, the trail makes its way along the Glasagh Burn with beautiful views of Cashel mountain.
