Rivelin Valley from Malin Bridge

This walk explores the Rivelin Valley which lies to the west of Sheffield. The route includes a short section within the Peak District National Park. This walk goes out from Malin Bridge along the top of the valley side and comes back along the river.
Bamford & Stanage Edges from Rod Side

This Peak District walk explores two of the gritstone edges in the eastern sector of the National Park. The walk generally follows well defined paths and tracks and offers some fine views from elevated positions along the way. After heavy rain do expect some boggy ground under foot along some sections of the route.

Including some quiet paths and tracks, the route also visits the popular summit of Back Tor and the monument to the Lost Lad. This valley is particularly impressive and feels quite remote - considering how close it is to the thousands of people that are circuiting around Ladybower.
Broomhead Moor & Ewden Beck

However the area has many attractive rural locations including one of the country's finest houses, Wentworth Woodhouse, which is passed on this walk. The house featured in the TV series "The Country House Revealed" which visited stately homes not open to the public.

This Peak District Walk follows sections of the Barnesley Boundary Walk and the Trans Pennine Trail in wild moorland. Route finding is generally easy and the walk uses well marked paths tracks and a section of minor road to explore the country at the eastern end of the now closed Woodhead Tunnel.
