St. Winnow walks

You can discover St Winnow Church as well during this walk. Be careful, this walk is better at low tide because the footpath along St Winnow Church and the river can be partly submerged.

Not shown on the OS maps, the National Trust who own the land have created this Straightforward, easy, circular walk around Dodman Point. We followed up that circuit with a walk down to Hemmick Beach and back. A steep walk but perfectly doable! A bonus was the car park, National Trust owned so no charges there!

This short circular walk provides a good way to visit the famous fishing villages, Port Isaac and Port Gaverne using the coastal path, typical lanes in Port Isaac and paths inland during the return way.

This very short walk offers some wonderful views of Port Quin and Doyden Castle.
