Description of the route

Car park and departure point: Clarke Barracks in Landrecies

(S/E) Turn right onto Avenue de la Marne and cross the railway bridge. At the roundabout, take thefourth exit on the right, D959 (Rue d'Happegarbes). Continue straight ahead.

(1) Military cemetery.

(2) At the bend, take thefirst right, Rue d'en Haut, and follow this road, which becomes Chemin Saint-Jacques further on

(3) At the T-junction, turn left onto Rue du Cateau, then take thefirst right, Rue du 8 Mai.

(4) At the T-junction, turn left onto Rue du Pont: you are now in Fontaine-au-Bois.

(5) Just after the military cemetery on your right, at Le Chêne, turn right onto Rue d'Ors.

(6) Continue straight ahead. Ignore Avenue du Château on your right.

(7) Take the next right, Rue de la Galocherie: you are now in Bousies.

(8) At the roundabout, take thesecond exit, staying on Rue de la Galocherie, then turn right onto Rue Pasteur. Continue straight ahead, pass the museum on Rue René Ruelle and follow the main road (D43).

(9) Continue straight ahead on Rue de Robersart (D243), then follow Rue de Bousies as it continues: you are now in Robersart. Go around the church on the left.

(10) Continue along Rue de Landrecies, which continues as Chemin de Robersart.

(11) At Les Grands Chênes, turn right onto Rue du Chêne.

(12) At the T-junction, turn left onto Rue de Landrecies (D43), then takethe first left onto Chemin Dame Marguerite and continue to the T-junction with Rue du Pavé Blanc (D934).

(13) Carefully follow the Route de Preux-au-Bois to the right for a short distance, then turn left onto Chemin Dame Marguerite.

(14) At the next four-way intersection, continue straight on the GR®122 (white and red markings), and do the same at the next two four-way intersections.

(15) At the end of Chemin Dame Marguerite, turn right towards Les Étoquies. Continue straight ahead, go under the bridge and follow Rue du Syndicat. Turn right with the street, join Rue d'Happegarbes and turn right.

At the roundabout, take thefirst exit on the right, cross the railway bridge and return to your starting point (S/E).
