Giffard Park to Bradville via Stanton Low and Great Linford
A fairly flat route that follows a former railway line, the Grand Union Canal and passes through Stanton Low and Linford Manor Park.
Willen & Tongwell Lakes Plus Grand Union Canal
This walk starts and ends at Willen Local Centre (parking). You travel northwards to Tongwell Lake, then westwards to the Grand Union Canal at Giffard Park. Much of the route is southwards alongside the canal until reaching Campbell Park. The route continues southwards beside the canal, leaving the Canal Broadwalk to enter Woolstone in the direction of The Barge pub. It then continues towards the River Ouzel, turning northwards towards Willen Lake and from there back to Willen Local Centre.
Newlands - Willen Park - Campbell Park - Woolstone
The walk starts at the car park for the Tree Cathedral on Livingstone Drive, Newlands - close to Gulliver's Theme Park and the David Lloyd Sports Centre.
Woughton to Campbell Park and back via Woolstone
A fairly easy walk from Ye Olde Swan at Woughton on the Green that follows the Grand Union Canal to Campbell Park, returning via Woolstone. All on surfaced paths.
Woughton - Simpson - Caldecotte Lake - Walton - Woughton
This is a reasonably flat walk, much of it beside water (river, canal and lake).
The Ouzel Valley Park
This is a circular walk, along footpaths, red ways and a canal towpath. The walking is easy and accessible year round. It is wheelchair friendly, although there is one incline at the beginning of the trail which could present problems for some manual wheelchair users.
Dodford/Weedon circuit
Taking in the road walking along the A45 but with nice views of rolling countryside, a saunter along the Grand Union, (there's a memorial bench under the A45 to rest and lunch and keep dry), and then heading off the canal towards the village of Dodford with a Grade 1 listed church to visit. Parking at the village hall or opposite the church.
Newnham, Northamptonshire

This is a good walk at any time but really good in spring when the bluebells are out in Badby Woods and butterflies are exploring the hedgerows. The route passes through some scenic Northamptonshire villages and includes small stretches of the Nene and Knightley Ways.
From Middleton Cheney, Millenium Way
This delightful circular walk takes in the beginning, or end, of the MILLENNIUM WAY depending which way you look at it. It is mostly across open country with gentle undulations. This is walk 36 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
Thenford Hill and Upper Wardington from Middleton Cheney
This delightful walk explores parts of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire using a section of the Millennium Way. The route starts from Middleton cheney and continues via Thenford, Upper Wardington and Chacombe back to the start.
Chipping Warden to Middleton Cheney, Millenium Way
This is the last section of the Millenium Way 100 miles from Chipping Warden to Middleton Cheney.
From Hellidon, Millenium Way
This circular walk incorporates two idyllic villages, quiet country lanes, pleasant woodland, open countryside, and an interesting church at Hellidon. A small section of the walk crosses Hellidon Lakes Golf Course, so extra care should be taken near the fairways. This is arguably one of our most scenic walks. This is walk 21 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
From Cropredy, Millenium Way
A lovely circular walk from the delightful village of Cropredy in the Cherwell Valley, three miles north of Banbury and close to Exit 11 on the M40. During this circular walk you will enjoy three delightful villages, some open countryside and farmland, quiet lanes and an attractive section of the Oxford Canal. This is walk 34 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
From Upper Boddington, Millenium Way

This delightful circular walk starts from The Hollybush public house in Priors Marston. It mostly goes across flat farmland and passing through splendid woodland. There are only a few inclines. This is walk 22 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
The parkland of Woburn Abbey, Eversholt & Milton Bryan from Woburn
A fairly level Bedfordshire walk starts from Woburn and passes through the extensive grounds of Woburn Abbey to reach Eversholt. The return route includes the opportunity to have lunch in Milton Bryan and a further section of walking through the Abbey's extensive parkland.

Two Ridges Way from Leighton Buzzard to Ivinghoe Beacon
The Ridgeway is linked at Ivinghoe Beacon by the Two Ridges Link (8 miles and included on OS mapping) with the Greensand Ridge Walk that in turn also connects with the Icknield Way Path. The Link uses the Grand Union Canal North from near Slapton. This route shows the link from North to South.
Rushbed Woods and Brill circular
A gentle walk near Brill, including a nature reserve with lots of butterflies (in June and July) woods and a hill.
Grand Union Canal and Beacon Hill from Napton-on-the-Hill

A Warwickshire walk full of interest. The route passes a restored windmill, follows two sections of canal and visits the summit of Beacon Hill which offers good views across the surrounding countryside.
Stockton, Millenium Way
This circular walk starts at The Kings Head, near Napton on the A425 where you can obtain refreshments. The route soon joins The Millennium Way along the Oxford canal then across flat farmland & open countryside, turning south to follow the Grand Union Canal and Oxford Canal providing a feast for those interested in narrow boats and history of our canal network. This is walk 25 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.
Elkington, Grand Union Canal & Cold Ashby from Winwick

A lengthy Northamptonshire walk that explores the countryside to the north-west of Northampton. The route uses a section of the Jurassic Way, the towpath of Grand Union Canal, fields paths and country lanes. Winwick is a small rural community of some 40 souls, according to their website, situated off the A428 north of West Haddon and west of Northampton.

My favourite ramble which begins and ends at St Denys Church, Cold Ashby. This is a proper ramble with both hard and soft surfaces and good views from Honey Hill.

Marsworth Canals and Reservoirs

This walk is good for both ‘Arms’ and legs. Not only that, what better way to get some fresh air into your lungs than to explore the waterways near Tring? The route includes a visit to one of the best birdwatching sites in the area, Wilstone Reservoir.
Ivinghoe Beacon to Wendover, The Ridgeway the Other Way
The Ridgeway the other way. The NationalTrail from NE to SW. This Stage 1 goes over the Chilterns, across the Grand Union Canal, past Tring, through the Three Hundreds of Aylesbury to reach the market town of Wendover.
The Avon Valley from Rugby Railway Station, Rail Trails
This trail takes you from Rugby train station to the village of Clifton upon Dunsmore following a section of the Oxford Canal and Wilmcote the Shakespeare Avon Way. Sample a different side of Rugby, with an amble along the Avon Valley through peace and quiet to the village of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore.
