This circular walk (Route 1) starts from The Flower Pot, Aston. Apart from a short climb at the start, it’s easy walking for the rest of the route along the River Thames.

Enjoy a mostly level walk with no stiles between Wargrave to Twyford railway stations. A shorter version is available to avoid some muddy paths in the Stanlake area but there is no footway across the railway bridge and care needs to be taken.

This is a level walk with a couple of stiles where a variety of wildlife may be seen.

This circular walk can be very muddy in wet weather and there are some awkward stiles. Rebecca's Well is a grade 2 listed building. An undulating walk through woods and fields on the higher ground to the north-east of Wargrave. Tree roots can be a hazard in the woods. There are no stiles. Rebecca's Well is a grade 2 listedbuilding.
